ORDER IN EXECUTIVE COUNCIL

At Avarua, Rarotonga this 15th day of February 2007

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE QUEEN'S REPRESENTATIVE IN EXECUTIVE COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 89 of the Public Health Act, His Excellency the Queen's Representative, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following Order:

ANALYSIS

1. Title
2. Amendments to the Schedule of Notifiable conditions

ORDER

1. Title - This Order may be cited as the Public Health (Notifiable Conditions) Order 2007.

2. Amendments to the Schedule of Notifiable conditions - Schedule 2 of the Public Health Act is hereby amended by adding, in their respective alphabetical order, the following conditions -

(a) Viral haemorrhagic fevers (including but not limited to Ebola, Lassa Fever and Marburg virus);

(b) Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS);

(c) Inluenza-like illness.
