AN ACT TO AMEND THE DEVELOPMENT BANK OF KIRIBATI ACT 1986
(NO. 2 OF 1986)

Commencement:
1997

MADE by the Maneaba ni Maungatabu and assented to by the Beretitenti.

Short title

1. This Act may be cited as the Development Bank of Kiribati (Amendment) Act 1997.

Amendment of section 23

2. That section 23 of the Development Bank of Kiribati Act 1986 (No. 2 of 1986) is amended by repealing the words "after consultation with the Public Service Commission".

Amendment of section 24

3. That section 24 of the Development Bank of Kiribati Act 1986 (No. 2 of 1986) is amended by repealing the words "acting in accordance with the advice of the Public Service Commission".

Amendment of section 25

4. Section 25 of the Development Bank of Kiribati Act 1986 (No. 2 of 1986) is amended -

(a) in subsection (1) by repealing the words "after consultation with the Public Service Commission"; and

(b) in subsection (3) by repealing the words "acting in accordance with the advice of the Public Service Commission".
