An Act to declare the customary law with respect to the Iroijlaplap rights, titles and interests in and to Enewetak and Ujelang Atolls.

§301. Short title.


This Act may be cited as the 'Customary Law (Enewetak and Ujelang) Act 1991'. [P.L. 1991-116, §1.]


§302. Declaration of customary law.


Section 303 of this Act is a declaration of the customary law made pursuant to Article X. Section 2 of the Constitution of the Republic of the Marshall Islands. [P.L. 1991-116, §2.]


§303. Iroijlaplap of Enewetak and Ujelang Atolls.


No person holds or may hold any Iroijlaplap rights, titles and Interests in and to Enewetak and Ujelang Atolls other than the successors of Johannes Peter and Binton Abraham, who hold such rights, titles and interests to the extent permitted by, and in accordance with, the customs and traditions of the people of Enewetak [P.L. 1991-116, §3.]
