MARITIME (AMENDMENT) ACT (NO.5) 2013
AN ACT
to amend section 112 of the Republic of the Marshall Islands Maritime Act (the "Act").
BE IT ENACTED BY THE NITIJELA OF THE REPUBLIC OF THE MARSHALL ISLANDS:
Section 1. Short Title
This Act may be cited as the Maritime (Amendment) Act (No.5), 2013.
Section 2. Amendment
(1) Section 112 of the Principal Act is amended by adding to the following definitions in alphabetical order and by renumbering the subsections accordingly, as follows:
§ 112. Definitions.
(1) The word "builder", as used throughout this Title, shall mean one who is building or has contracted to build a vessel under construction.
Section 3. Effective Date
This Act shall take effect in accordance with the Constitution and the Rules of Procedures of the Nitijela.
