Companies Amendment Act 2006

1. Title

This is the Companies Amendment Act 2006.

2. Repeals

(1) Section 305 of the Companies Act 2006 is repealed and the following new section 305 inserted -

The Financial Secretary is the Registrar of Companies.

(2) Section 306(1) of the Companies Act 2006 is repealed and the following new section 306(1) inserted -

(1) The Public Service Commission may appoint as many Deputy Registrars of Companies as may be necessary for the purposes of this Act.

(3) Section 307 of the Companies Act 2006 is repealed.
