ARRANGEMENT OF SECTION.
Rates of import duty (Amendment of Schedule 1).
AN ACT
entitled
Customs Tariff (Amendment) Act 2003,
Being an Act to amend the Customs Tariff Act 1990,
MADE by the National Parliament -
(a) in respect of Paragraph (a), to come into operation in accordance with a notice in the National. Gazette by the Head of State, acting on advice of the Minister; and
(b) in respect of Paragraph (b), to be deemed to have come into operation on the coming into operation of the Principal Act.
RATES OF IMPORT DUTY (AMENDMENT OF SCHEDULE 1).
Schedule 1 of the Principal Act is amended -
(a) by repealing tariff item 2501.00.00 and replacing it with the following:-

(b) by inserting immediately after tariff item 3923.30.10 (Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottles) the following new tariff rate of import duty:-
