ARRANGEMENT OF SECTION.
Repeal and replacement of Schedule.
"SCHEDULE 1.
AN ACT
entitled
Excise Tariff (Budget Provisions) Act 1992,
Being an Act to amend the Excise Tariff Act (Chapter 107),
MADE by the National Parliament to be deemed to have come into operation on 10 November 1992.
REPEAL AND REPLACEMENT OF SCHEDULE 1.
Schedule I to the Principal Act is repealed and is replaced with the following:-
"SCHEDULE 1.
DUTIES OF EXCISE.
| ITEM 10. | DESCRIPTION OF GOODS | RATES OF DUTY |
| 1. | Aerated waters, mineral waters and other non-alcoholic beverages | K0.085 per litre |
| 2. | Beer, containing more than 1.15% but not more than 4% by volume of alcohol | K0.90 per litre |
| 3. | Beer, containing more than 4% by volume of alcohol | K1.35 per litre |
| 4. | Alcoholic spirits including wines, for human consumption | K4.00 per litre |
| 5. | Cigarettes | K48.50 per kg |
| 6. | Twist Tobacco | K 4.50 per kg |
| 7. | Other manufactured tobacco for chewing or smoking | K 6.00 per kg.". |
