Betting tax (Amendment of Section 67A).

AN ACT

entitled

Gaming Machine (2004 Budget Provisions Amendment) Act 2003,

Being an Act to amend the Gaming Machine Act 1993,

MADE by the National Parliament to come into operation on 1 January 2004.

BETTING TAX (AMENDMENT OF SECTION 67A).

Section 67A of the Principal Act is amended —

(a) in Subsection 1, by inserting after the definition of "operator" the following new definition:-

• ""taxable gross profit" means the total gross profit paid or payable to the operator in respect of a month, less any amounts that have been included as taxable gross profits in a previous month."; and

(b) in Subsection (3), by deleting the word "collected".
