MERCHANT SHIPPING (FEES)
AN ACT TO PROVIDE FOR THE FEES TO BE TAKEN UNDER THE MERCHANT SHIPPING ACT, 1894.

Short title
1. This Act may be cited as the Merchant Shipping (Fees) Act.
Fees to be taken by port officer

2. Whenever any act mentioned in the schedule hereto which shall, under the provisions of the Merchant Shipping Act, 1894, be done by, to, or before a British Consular officer is in Solomon Islands done by, to, or before an officer for the time being performing the duties of port officer, there shall be paid in respect of such act the fee specified therefor in the said schedule.

3. All fees levied under this Act shall be accounted for by the officer levying the same to the Minister and, when so accounted for, shall form part of the Consolidated Fund.
