1991-92 DEVELOPMENT FUND SUPPLEMENTARY APPROPRIATION ACT, (NO.1), 1991

AN ACT

TO APPROPRIATE MONEYS TO THE SERVICE OF THE GOVERNMENT

[19th November, 1991]

BE IT ENACTED by the King and the Legislative Assembly of Tonga in the Legislature of the Kingdom as follows:

1. This Act may be cited as The 1991-92 Development Fund Supplementary Appropriation Act, (No. 1), 1991.

2. There shall be issued from the Development Fund of the Kingdom and applied to the service of the year ending the thirtieth day June, One thousand nine hundred and ninety two any sum or sums not exceeding Eight hundred and forty thousand pa'angas in addition to the amount approved by the 1991 - 92 Development Fund Appropriation Act 1991, for defraying the charge of the Government of Tonga for such period in the manner expressed in the Schedule to this Act.

3. The Treasurer shall issue and pay such sum or sums of money for the purposes set out in the Schedule not exceeding in the whole the sums respectively as the Prime Minister shall be warrant under his hands direct.

4. The moneys granted by this Act are intended for the services in respect of which moneys will become payable within the financial year ending on 30th June, 1992 and any balance thereof unissued at the end of June, 1992 shall lapse and not be available for making payment in any subsequent month.
