ARMS AND AMMUNITION (AMENDMENT) ACT 2003

AN ACT
TO AMEND THE ARMS AND AMMUNITION ACT

[20th October, 2003.]

BE IT ENACTED by the King and Legislative Assembly of Tonga in the Legislature of the Kingdom as follows:

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Arms and Ammunition (Amendment) Act 2003.

(2) The Arms and Ammunition Act (Cap. 39), as amended, is in this Act referred to as the Principal Act.

2. Section 4(4)(a) of the Principal Act is amended -

(i) in the Tongan version of the section only by deleting the words " 'o Tonga pe kau polisi makehe 'o Tonga"; and

(ii) by inserting a comma and the words ", Aviation Security Services" after the word "police" in line 1.

Passed in the Legislative Assembly this 20 day of October, 2003.
