CRIMINAL OFFENCES (AMENDMENT) ACT 2005

AN ACT TO AMEND THE CRIMINAL OFFENCES ACT

BE IT ENACTED by the King and the Legislative Assembly of Tonga in the Legislature of the Kingdom as follows:

1. This Act may be cited as the Criminal Offences (Amendment) Act 2005.

2. The Criminal Offences Act (Cap. 18) as amended, is referred to in this Act as the Principal Act.

3. Section 197 (2) of the Principal Act is amended by inserting the number "164" and comma between the numbers and comma 117 and 175 appearing therein.

Passed by the Legislative Assembly this 26th day of October, 2005.
