DISTRICT AND TOWN OFFICERS (AMENDMENT) ACT 1995

AN ACT TO AMEND THE DISTRICT AND TOWN OFFICERS ACT

I assent,
TAUFA'AHAU TUPOU IV,
12th October, 1995

BE IT ENACTED by the King and Legislative Assembly of Tonga in the Legislature of the Kingdom as follows:

1.

(1) This Act may be cited as the District and Town Officers (Amendment) Act 1995.

(2) The District and Town Officers Act (Cap. 43), is in this Act referred to as the Principal Act.

2. Section 6(2) of the Principal Act is amended by deleting the words "section 5(d) of the Legislative Assembly Act" and substituting the words "the Electoral Act 1989".
