PASSPORT (AMENDMENT) ACT 1994

AN ACT TO AMEND THE PASSPORT ACT

I assent,

BE IT ENACTED by the King and Legislative Assembly of Tonga in the Legislature of the Kingdom as follows:

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Passport (Amendment) Act 1994.

(2) The Passport Act (Cap. 61), as amended, is in this Act referred to as the Principal Act.

2. Section 15 of the Principal Act is amended by deleting the words "the Schedule" and substituting therefor the word and figure "Schedule II."

3. The Principal Act is amended by deleting the words "the Schedule" wherever they appear in sections 9, 12, 14 and 25, and substituting therefor the word and figure "Schedule I."

4. The Schedule to the Principal Act is amended by:

(i) deleting the words "THE SCHEDULE" and substituting therefor the word and figure "SCHEDULE I."

(ii) deleting therefrom the part with the heading "FEES - FOR PASSPORTS AND CERTIFICATES OF IDENTITY."

5. The Principal Act is amended by inserting the following as Schedule II:

"SCHEDULE II

FEES

For Passports and Certificates of Identity

Passed by the Legislative Assembly this 8th day of November, 1994.
