PUBLIC HEALTH (AMENDMENT) ACT 2002

AN ACT TO AMEND THE PUBLIC HEALTH ACT (1992)

BE IT ENACTED by the King and the Legislative Assembly of Tonga in the Legislature of the Kingdom as follows:

1 Short title

(1) This Act may be cited as the Public Health (Amendment) Act 2002.

(2) The Public Health Act (1992), as amended is in this Act referred to as the Principal Act.

2 Repeal of Part IV

Part IV of the Principal Act is hereby repealed.

3 Savings

Any existing orders, certificates, licenses or notices made or granted under Part IV of the Principal Act, shall continue to be valid as if made under the Building Control and Standards Act 2002.
