AN ACT TO AMEND THE PUBLIC SERVICE ACT

BE IT ENACTED by the King and Legislative Assembly of Tonga in the Legislature of the Kingdom as follows:
1 Short title and Interpretation

(1) This Act may be cited as the Public Service (Amendment) (No. 2) Act 2018.
(2) In this Act, the Public Service Act 2002, as amended, shall be referred to as the “Principal Act”.

2 Schedule 1 Part 1 amended

Part 1 of Schedule 1 of the Principal Act is amended –

(a) in paragraph 7, by deleting the words “and National Planning”; and
(b) in paragraph 8, by deleting the words “Commerce, Trade, Innovation and Labour” and replacing it with the words “Trade and Economic Development”.
