TOURIST (AMENDMENT) ACT 1993

AN ACT
TO AMEND THE TOURIST ACT

[17th August, 1993]

BE IT ENACTED by the King and Legislative Assembly of Tonga in the Legislature of the Kingdom as follows:

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Tourist (Amendment) Act 1993.

(2) The Tourist Act (Cap 117), as amended, is in this Act referred to as the Principal Act.

2. Section 13 of the Principal Act is amended by -

(i) deleting subsection (2);

(ii) deleting the words "by the Deputy Commissioner of Inland Revenue" from subsection (3);

(iii) renumbering subsection (3) as subsection (2).

3. Section 22 of the Principal Act is amended by deleting the words "by the Deputy Commissioner of Inland Revenue".

Passed by the Legislative Assembly this 17th day of August, 1993.

1. (1) 'E ui 'a e Lao ni ko e Lao (Fakatonutonu) ki he Taki Mamata 1993.

(2) 'Oku ui 'e he Lao ni 'a e Lao ki he Taki Mamata (Vahe 117), 'i hono fakatonutonu ko e Tefito 'i Lao.

2. 'Oku fakatonutonu 'a e kupu 13 'o e Tefito 'i Lao 'aki hono -

(i) tamate'i 'o e kupu si'i (2);

(ii) tamate'i mei he kupu si'i (3) 'a e ngaahi fo'i lea " 'e he Tokoni Komisiona 'a e Pa'anga Hu Mai lotofonua";

(iii) to e fakafika 'a e kupu si'i (3) ko e kupu si'i (2).

3. 'Oku fakatonutonu 'a e kupu 22 'o e Tefito'i Lao 'aki hono tamate'i 'ae ngaahi fo'i lea " 'e he Tokoni Komisiona 'a e Pa'anga Hu Mai lotofonua".

Na'e fakahoko 'e he Fale Alea 'i hono 'aho 17 'o 'Aokosi, 1993.
