WHARVES (AMENDMENT) ACT 1994

AN ACT
TO AMEND THE WHARVES ACT

[1st June, 1994.]

BE IT ENACTED by the King and Legislative Assembly of Tonga in the Legislature of the Kingdom as follows:

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Wharves (Amendment) Act 1994.

(2) The Wharves Act (Cap. 138), as amended, is in this Act referred to as the Principal Act.

(3) This Act shall come into effect on 1st July, 1994.

2. Sections 12 and 13 of the Principal Act are amended by deleting the words "Ports Administration Department" wherever they appear and substituting therefor the words "Marine and Ports".

Passed by the Legislative Assembly this 1st day of June, 1994.

(3) Kuo pau ke kamata ngaue'aki 'a e Lao ni 'i he 'aho 1 'o Siulai 1994.

2. 'Oku fakatonutonu 'a e Kupu 12 mo e 13 'o e Tefito 'i Lao 'aki hono tamate'i 'a e ngaahi fo'i lea "Potungaue Pule'i 'o e Ngaahi Taulanga" 'i ha feitu'u pe 'oku 'asi ai pea fetongi'aki 'a e ngaahi fo'i lea "Malini mo e Ngaahi Taulanga".
