IMMIGRATION (RESERVE BANK EXEMPTION)

An Order to exempt certain non-citizens employed by or seconded to the Reserve Bank from the entry permit requirements.
1. Interpretation
In this Order “Reserve Bank” means the Reserve Bank of Vanuatu established by the Reserve Bank of Vanuatu Act [Cap. 125].
2. Exemption
(1) Any non-citizens employed by, seconded to or in the service of the Reserve Bank of Vanuatu shall be exempted from the:
(a) requirements of a visa; or
(b) requirements of a permit to enter and reside in Vanuatu, imposed by the Immigration Act [Cap. 66].
(2) Such exemption shall extend to the family (which expression shall mean the husband or wife, and children who are under 18 years of age) of such non-citizen.
3. Reserve Bank to inform Principal Immigration Officer
The Reserve Bank shall, for the purpose of section 1, inform the Principal Immigration Officer, in writing, in good time of any such
person referred to in section 1 before that person arrives in Vanuatu.
