An Act to amend the Joint Census Regulation No. 20 of 1972.

BE IT ENACTED by the President and Parliament as follows:-

REPLACEMENT OF SECTION 4 OF JOINT REGULATION No. 20 OF 1972

1. Section 4 of the Joint Census Regulation No. 20 of 1972 is repealed and the following section is substituted therefor:-

“REPORT

4. Upon completion of the census the Director of Statistics shall cause the census returns to be checked, edited and coded and the results tabulated and analysed and published in a report or series of reports.”

COMENCEMENT

2. This Act shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Gazette.
