An Act to amend the Public Finance Regulation No. 24 of 1980.

BE IT ENACTED by the President and Parliament as follows:-

ADDITION OF NEW SECTION 25

1. The Public Finance Regulation No. 24 of 1980, as amended, is further amended by the addition after section 24 of the following section:-

"FINANCIAL INSTRUCTIONS

25. (1) The Minister may from time to time issue Financial Instructions covering every aspect of the work of accounting officers.

(2) It shall not be necessary for instructions made under this section to be published in the Gazette.

(3) Where there is a conflict between any instruction made under this section and any order made under section 24 or any provision of this Regulation or the Constitution, the order or the provisions of the Regulation or the Constitution shall prevail."

COMMENCEMENT

2. This Act shall care into force on the date of its publication in the Gazette.
